Guess I will have to stick up for hytran. More so on the IH side. I'm not sure what Case called for prior to buy out IH. I have trying Conaco oil and found no good results from it other than foaming.I have my own stories on such good results. My last is changing oil in my Farmall 400 when I had about a gallon of milky in the drain pan and one I had some new hytran run into the same pan. After just a few minutes I noticed the little spot of hytran getting bigger. I could see the hytran bubbling and expanding. By the time I got the transmission filled it looked like it had new oil in the drain pan.
Have other proven facts about hydraulic pump problems that were cured by using hytran in the IH tractors. Never had the complaint of over heating transmissions. Have been around IH a lot longer than I have older Case tractors. Have not heard of any problems using JD hygard in other makes. As a JD guy once said "If it's good enough to use in a Deere then it's good enough for any machine. casemand
