John I was going to use my 660 with a 402 corn hdr, I knew I would have some loss but as it was just a "test" plot I didn't think the loss would be so bad, however the birds in the pics took every seed for me weeks before they were ready to harvest so the only thing I did with them was run the "SC" with a shredder behind it and chopped them down, the Sunflower's were a total loss, I have never seen some many of those type of birds in my life, we estimated there were around 5000 of them eating on them and in less than 10 days all the heads were picked clean, by the way I had planted them on 38" rows with my corn planter with sunflower seed plates and cultivated them two times they were around 8'-9' feet tall and seemed to do very well cnt
