Hi Mark, I called you the day I received your calendar. Guess you were out or feeding the chickens. Another storm is on the horizon for the middle of next week. We received 9 inches of rain during the month of Oct. Would've been nice to have got some back in June and July. The Weather Channel will be covering the storm.
I'm going to install a HDTV digital antenna to see if I can pick up some channels in PA. My wife only paid $29.00 for it. I have TV, Internet and phone with Verizon. Get excellent
service, but I only watch about a dozen channels.
They installed all new wiring in the area in 2009
and even during that storm we had phone service, TV and Internet. The Kohler standby generator
was a lifesaver when the power was off. Ours was off 26 hours, but our neighbor across the street her's was off for 4 days. She brought over some of her frozen meat for us to keep it frozen. She's a widow and none of her relatives call her even her son doesn't call. Have a nice Thanksgiving we're going to eat out again with our daughter. We go up to PA about a 50 minute drive. It's a buffet dinner and if you come away from there hungry it's your own fault. Even have shrimp, roast beef, turkey, lamb and all the stuff you have at Thanksgiving.
Hal

Today's Featured Article - Hydraulic Basics - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In the last entry to this series we gave a brief overview of hydraulic system theory, its basic components and how it works. Now lets take a look at some general maintenance tips that will keep our system operating to its fullest potential. The two biggest enemies to a hydraulic system are dirt and water.
