woke up around 4am to the sound of light rain. i was pretty excited just to hear the sound of rain.checked the rain gauge it had just 2tenth's of an inch.enough to settle the dust for a day.we bought a 1270 about a month ago.it has the frameless back window so it should be a 1978.it shows 5100hrs. the cab seals up nice and tight.ac even works!we put about 50 hrs on it hauling hay and on the bale processer.i think it was used for summer work only because there are no signs of a frost plug heater or tank heater.the motor has more blow by then i like to see but doesn't use any oil or water yet.nice tractors.what is the 970 up to these days?
