I'm asking for those models because I have a Case (IH) 1896, and am having trouble getting in touch with someone who has a good idea of my issue. My remotes are not doing their job well at all. I have to use the inside and outside remote lever to raise almost any implement. When using my Koyker 500 loader, have to use both levers to raise a bale of hay, and forget tilting it up. Is has gotten progressively worse over last few months. 3 point will lift a house in a hurry, but the remotes have gotten ill. It will lift as good as new when both levers are pulled back, which tells me the pump should be putting out enough pressure. A dealer mechanic told me to pull the valve stack off the side of the machine where the hydraulic lever cable connect and there is a hole in back behind an allen screw, that a magnet will pull a signal check ball out and there is probably some junk back there that needs cleaned out. What say you? I can turn the adjustment knobs on top of the stack and change the speed of the loader without a load, but not the lifting ability, and when you do get a load on, you can let it down easily, it goes down fairly fast about a foot then locks up. Have to work the lever again, another foot, jars to a stop. Sometimes does this without a load, but always does it with one. Someone help me out before I spend a bunch of needless money!
