the pump is mounted outside the engine at the rear corner on the right, but inside the torque tube. you have to remove the torque tube (clutch housing) to see it. You can see a 1/4 inch pipe coming out of the top of th housing in this area. this is the "output" and then divides to go to the filter and engine valve train. you migh take the tube off and the tee and pump oil down th settl pipe with an oil gun to "prime it". you will only get about 15 psi, an dthat is on a good day. if it runs and has 10 psi, you are o.k. amke sure there is a small 1/4 inch tube stickung up thru the oil filter. only 15% of the oil goes thru the filter, if the tube is gone you will steel the oil and not read right on the gauge.
