Went to buy a replacement Ross steering box for the CA from a guy and the box he had was smaller in size with only one pin on the sector arm versus the two that came off the CA. He said it came off a CA however. It looks like it will bolt in fine but I"m concerned of the size not being beefy enough to turn the CA like the original Rosses. (My box had badly worn pins and worm gear) The book only mentions one size Ross box with the two pins. Will this smaller box work and turn the front end just as easy as an original larger Ross or did I just waste my money? What would this have originally come off of? Thanks for any responses.
