That link looks like good pictures of location, and the book "Original Allis-Chalmers, 1933-57" has pictures and supporting text explaining the locating.
Off of memory, that book says to line the top of the WD45 decal with the top of the two hood bolts as shown in the link CTucker gave. The book also has a picture/explanation on how to place the decal on factory power steered models, with a bolt from the PS tank going through the "-" in Allis-Chalmers if I remember correctly. I would look it the book, but the nearest copy is 200 miles away.
