This morning I was planning on re-installing the radiator on my dad"s model "C" tractor. Before putting it back, I thought it best to blast out the fins with compressed air. While handling it I noticed a rattle of loose parts inside the upper tank. I looked inside the filler neck and saw a red colored hose or wire about a 1/4" in diameter and a curved piece of sheet metal which is apparently non-ferrous as my magnet picker wouldn"t grab it. Any idea what these parts are, how to get them out, and if this radiator is junk or not? Any advice is much appreciated!
