Well on the right side of the cab area, on the frame, below the Hydraulic Tank there should be a plate riveted with a number D-_ _ _ _ _ _ Identifying the Serial Number. With that you can find out the Year it was mfg. Mine is D-5675 if it is Diesel it would be a DD model. On this forum the serial numbers for the allis chalmers Model D are not listed. I do have the listing but have to look for it. Somewhere in the pile. The photo attached is me plowing 32" of overnight snowfall with the Model D. See that little black square in front of the tire? thats it.
